Summary: What's holding you back? Your hard work is paying off, you are doing well--but there is something standing between you and the next level of achievement. Perhaps one small flaw--a behavior you barely even recognize--is the only thing that's keeping you from where you want to be. Here, executive coach Goldsmith discusses not only the key beliefs of successful leaders, but also the behaviors that hold them back. He addresses the fundamental problems that often come with success, and offers ways to attack them. He outlines twenty habits commonly found in the corporate environment and provides a systematic approach to helping you achieve a positive change in behavior.--From publisher description.

This book discovers the 20 workplace habits we need to break. The author Marshall Goldsmith is an expert at helping global leaders overcome their sometimes unconscious annoying habits and attain a higher level of success. Divided by four sections, the trouble with success, then twenty habits that hold you back from the top, how we can change for the better, and pulling out the stops, this book helps “successful” people to be more successful. In addition, this book is case-based, in where a lot of real cased are discussed in the specific chapter with specific topic to assist readers thinking. I think this book would be extremely useful for people desiring attaining a higher level of success and people planning their career path. Whether you are near the top of the ladder or still have a ways to climb, his book serves as an essential guide to help you eliminate your dysfunctions and move to where you want to go.
